This house was amazing! We had 5 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. I loved all the comfortable seating in the family room. The sunset on the lake, we had lots of hiking, swimming, and spending time with family.

This is our first family vacation with grown children and grandsons. There is enough room for all 10 of us to spread out. Door Haven had all the utensils to make our meals. The firepit was enjoyable but we had to find our own firewood. We could not receive emails and the internet was in and out. It was an enjoyable time with family. We will highly recommend Door Haven. We met the owners and they are very sweet.

Our family of eight enjoyed our second stay at Door Haven! This year we came up for the Sister Bay Fall Fest Weekend. This was our 1st year at Door Haven but have been coming to Door County every year since 1997. This has been our favorite rental to date! The home is beautiful & the view is unbelievable. We all really appreciate how fully stocked the kitchen was with utensils & dishes. We had a moment where we lost wifi but gave you a call & was helped right away! September 3 – 6, 2021
Door Haven was a beautiful escape from the daily routine. We had a blast surfing the waves on paddle boards and sitting by the fire roasting chicken nuggets listening to the waves. The last night, we had a fire in the fireplace and stayed up late into the night reminiscing and laughing about old memories. The view on the lake is simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. Personally I thought the little boardwalk was adorable. Before departing we witnessed a pelican trying in vain to eat a rather large dead fish. I would definitely recommend Door Haven and hope to come back sometime.

2nd stay in 2 years at Door Haven. Beautiful location and waterfront scenery are breath taking at sunset. Thank you for sharing this spot for a perfect Door county vacation. Absolutely beautiful property! Wouldn’t change a thing – looking forward to future visits.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Door Haven! The house had everything we needed and fit our group of 8 comfortably. The rocky beach was perfect for fishing and catching a glimpse of the sunset. We always look forward to our Door County getaway, and this year did not disappoint. Thank you!

2 families from Beaver Dam had a lovely time at Door Haven. Spent many evenings watching the sunset. Made many meals on the grill despite some rainy weather. Attempted to go parasailing twice with no luck; alas! 3rd times the charm. Had a beautiful time sailing sister bay. Very thankful to spend a relaxing week in such a beautiful location! Thanks you!!

Family from New Jersey. Coming from New Jersey we were very grateful to experience the clean air, natural sounds and the pure sunsets of Door County. Regarding the sunsets, we count sitting at dusk as a highlight of our trip. We are a family that loves to cook and we had fun depleting your kitchen. Highly recommend the ghost tour w/special Ed.
July 17 – 24 2021 – The Big Chill Crew
This is our third year at Door Haven, and perhaps the best, mainly because the internet was up all the time. Enjoyed many sunsets with a fire on shore most nights. Weather in the 70’s each day and in the low 60’s at night. A lot of boat traffic on the weekend but little during the week. Saw several lake freighters passing by. Many days hazy due to the forest fires in Canada and out west, but the made for very red sunsets. Grilling was great and kitchen well equipped. Made daily trips around the Door but always coming back home to Door Haven. Hopefully , the Crew is be back next year, for our 4th time.

For my 70th birthday, treated 2 daughters, son-in-laws, and 3 of my 4 grandchildren at Door Haven. Enjoyed the beautiful weather and awesome sun sets. This is one of the most well equipped places I have ver stayed at. Spent time reading and relaxing. Thanks to the owner for their hospitality.

We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday here at Door Haven! It was a perfect place for our family to be reunited. We loved the swing by the water and fires on the beach. Our 2 year old grandson loved every minute of throwing rocks into the water. My daughter & son-in-law kayaked everyday. We loved all the beds & bathroom! Kitchen towels would be beneficial but overall, the place was very well stocked! Thanks for the great dining table – great place for card games & laughs. Thanks again, The Callahans.

Thank You, your home is beautiful! Boys loved swimming & rock throwing. We saw otter on the beach on Friday Aug. 11 at 11:30 am eating a big fish! Loved the sound of the waves.

Yearly gathering of the 60’s chicks from Claire WI, Sheridan WY, and Bay City, MI as well as Madison WI. Enjoyed our stay in spite of rain, wind, trees past their peak and we couldn’t get on the Ghost tour. Couldn’t decide on which winery to sample so we stopped at every one we came across. We always try to get some exercise so we walked the paths at Cave Point – truly awesome to see the waves breaking on the rocks & caves. Fortunately no one fell in since it was right after we toured the winery. The house was great, plenty of room for games and well stocked with dishes, ect. We didn’t use the fireplace because we’re not very trustworthy with fire, but it did look inviting. Celebrated two birthdays but “what happens at Door Haven stays at Door Haven” we wont talk about that. Had a Great time at a lovely home in a beautiful part of the state.
A very clean and modern property in the perfect spot in Egg Harbor! Shops and the lake are only a short walk away, and the community is very friendly! About 20 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, and other nice towns. Will definitely be staying again! The price was also extremely affordable.. Thank you for a great time! – John B.

Very nice house with wonderful bayfront views. Perfect spot to watch gorgeous sunsets over the bay. There is a small stone beach. House is extremely clean and comfortable. Wifi worked beautifully. We’ve been coming to Door County for over 20 years, and this was our 2nd year staying here at Door Haven. The house surely didn’t disappoint, and the beach was perfect for launching our kayaks. The central air and fans in the upstairs bedroom helped keep things cool. This location can’t be beaten!We brought 4 people from Naperville, IL, one from Chicago, and one from Highland, IN, and we had a great time together, and Door Haven provided enough space for us to spread out. I enjoyed the lighted“runway” that the back deck provided so I could go stargazing each night. Enjoyed our 4th summer at Door Haven. Our Summer Chill crew of 3 couples spent half our time here, while the other half was out on the Door. Arrived on 7-23 and found the AC not working. Open all windows that could open and manage until Sunday when Andrew from Lundquist had AC serviceman out. Used AC all week…Yeh!!Nice updates of leather couch, 2 comfortable swivel chairs, and 2 “I don’t know what” wicker something.New shower in kitchen bedroom and nice updated landscaping! We had everything needed and especially like the expanded lake decks. Beach fires every night as we watched sunsets.So lucky we’ve found Door Haven and we’ll be back.–Bradlee & Marie, Jackson, WI.
